FAQ

Customers email notifications

Customize the look of your email notification templates, or edit the content of your email and SMS notifications individually. Log in to your store and go to Settings (bottom-left) > Notifications. Select a Notification > Be careful to edit only the text, not the HTML code. Example: {% capture email_title %}Thank you for your purchase! {% endcapture %}

Store Languages

Add a language to reach international customers. Log in to your store and go to Settings (bottom-left) > Store languages > Add a translated language.

Billing, Shipping, and Tax Information

Log in to your store, go to Settings (bottom-left) > and choose one of the three near the middle and bottom of the page.

Where do I add a privacy policy, shipping, and return policy?

Log in to your store and go to Settings (bottom-left) > select “Legal.” You can create your own legal pages or customize them from templates. The templates aren't legal advice and must be customized for your store. Your saved policies will be linked in the footer of your checkout.

How can I use Facebook or other media to sell products from Shopify?

Adding new sales channels helps you sell to new customers online, on mobile apps, through social networks, and in person. Log in to your store and go to Settings (bottom-left) > select “Sales Channels.”
